Services for Donald G. Matthes, 42, of 2445 N.E. Fifty-third Court, who died Thursday of a heart attack in Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grandview Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in McKeever Cemetery in Colfax.
Mr. Matthes was born in California. He retired in 1982 after serving as a state clerk.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha; and three daughters, Debbie Matthes of Iowa City, and Tracy Matthes and Kasey Matthes, both of Des Moines.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Grandview funeral home.
