J. Terry “Terry” Woods, age 63, died February 25, 2008.
Those left to honor Terry's memory are his wife, Jackie of Newton; 3 daughters, Jodi (Bill) Fuchs of Newton, Teresa (Bob) Hipsley of Apache Junction, Arizona, and Stacey (Lyle) Maxwell of Newton; his 7 grandchildren, Danielle, Courtney, Rae Ann, Trisha, Bobby, Sara, and Cody; 4 sisters, Lois (Chuck) Pavek of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Judy (Bill) Phillips of Mesa, Arizona, Phyllis (Greg) Raymond of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Zandra (Bill) White of Indiana; and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis E. and Lois N. (Poland) Woods and his brother, Tim.
Terry was a graduate of Cedar Rapids Washington High School in 1963. He worked as a meat cutter at West Hy-Vee in Newton and at Smitty's in Arizona.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. George's in Apache Junction, Arizona and the United Food and Commerical Workers Local 99 Retirees Union.
Memorials in Terry's name may be left at the funeral home.
Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m., March 01, 2008 at the funeral home. Visitation: The family will greet friends and family immediately following the services on Saturday, March 01, 2008 at the funeral home.
