Joe Berry was born, at Clyde, 18 years ago and grew up in this vicinity. Died at the home of his brother Hoyt in Independence township November 19, after a week’s illness with the flu. Burial was made in Ashton cemetery beside his sister Cleo and brother Curtis, Thursday morning. Besides his parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Berry, he leaves one brother Hoyt, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Wiley and Mrs. Gladys Bishop to mourn his sad and early demise.
