Private Services For Mrs. Long, 79
Private services will be held for Mrs. Prudence Long, 79, of 916 Eighth St., at the White-Bumgardner-Mack West Grand funeral home. Burial will be at Baxter.
Mrs. Long died Monday at Broadlawns General hospital. A native of Indiana, she lived at Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, before coming to Des Moines five years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Clifford, Roy and Gerald, all of Des Moines; three daughters, Iva Long Mead of Des Moines, Mrs. Fay Masterson of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Fern Thompson of Fresno, Cal.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Borts of West Des Moines; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
