Floyd Hard Rites Conducted Today
Funeral services for Floyd Hard, 84, a longtime resident of the Newton community, were held today in Toland Funeral Home.
Dr. Edwin Frohardt, minister of First Lutheran Church, conducted the services. Burial was in Newton Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Kenneth Davis, the soloist, was accompanied by Mrs. Ron Toppenberg, the organist.
Pallbearers were Erskine Bennett, Earl Bennett, Floyd Bennett, Merlin Bennett, Hollis Lust and Harry Whetstine.
Mr. Hard died Friday evening in Skiff Memorial Hospital.
