Myrtle Hutchinson Faircloth

Myrtle Faircloth, former Jasper resident, dies.

Marshalltown – Funeral services for Mrs. Ralph (Myrtle) Faircloth, 78, of Marshalltown, a former resident of Jasper County, were held today at the Pursel Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown.

The Rev. Francis Ross and the Rev. Bruce Hicks, both of Marshalltown conducted services. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marshalltown.

Memorial contributions to the First Friends Church in Marshalltown will be accepted.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Tweedt of New Port Richey, Fla., and Mrs. Jean Anderson of Kellogg; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters; and a brother.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979.

The daughter of William and Anna Hutchinson, she was born April 23, 1905 in Kellogg.

She was married Feb. 11, 1925 in Laurel.

Mrs. Faircloth and her husband farmed in the Kellogg and Newton communities until moving to Marshalltown in 1966.
