Bisbee – In Prairie City, Saturday, Jan. 5, 1878, Mr. C. S. Bisbee, aged 74 years.

Mr. Bisbee removed from the State of Maine to Page County, Iowa, in 1863. Two years afterward he came to Prairie City, where he resided up to the time of his death. Uncle Bisbee, as he was familiarly called, was beloved and respected by all who knew him. By gentle hands and sad hearts, he was laid in the grave where the wintry winds now sing his requiem. His aged wife and son, also a daughter in far off Maine, are left to mourn a lived husband and father.
