Sheryl Beth Beals, age 72 of Colfax, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10:30 am at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax. Burial will take place at McKeever Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Iowa State Fair and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Roy William and Bonnie Bell (Swalwell) Eilert, Sheryl was born on January 2, 1950, in Marshalltown, Iowa. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1968. On August 29, 1969, she was united in marriage to Terry Beals. Sheryl was a member of the Howard Street Christian Church. She worked at the Vernon Company in Newton as a Machine Operator, retiring in 2017. Sheryl loved going to the Iowa State Fair and attending her grandchildrens events. She had a big heart and attended as many fundraising events as she could.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Richard (Lana) Beals and Carrie (Larry Bregar) Beals; six grandchildren and her mother, Bonnie. Preceding her in death was her father and husband, Terry.
