Mrs. Rowland Bowker died at her home in Mingo, Ia., on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1905, after an illness of several weeks.
She was 82 years, 2 months and 6 days old at the time of her death. She was a kind and loving mother and her last illness was borne with great patience, for she had the sweet hope of a Christian life.
Ann Boyd was born in Muskingum Co., Ohio, July 28, 1923. At the age of 18 years she was converted and united with the M. E. church of which she was a faithful member and earnest worker.
In Feb. 1843 she was united in marriage to Mr. John Cummings. To this union nine children were born, seven sons and two daughters, four of whom, Sarah, Mary, Albert Stephen and John survive her.
Her husband died in the fall of 1862. May 7, 1868 she was married to Rowland Bowker, whom she survived ten years. Loved ones and friends are greatly comforted in knowing she is at rest.
