NEWTON - Josephine Helen Shepard, 86, of Newton, died Monday, Feb. 19, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Her funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Pence Funeral Home in Newton, the Rev. Ed Aubuchon, pastor of Newton First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial: Newton Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home; no visiting hours are scheduled with the family.
