Vinetta D. Budolfson, 96, of Newton died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at Careage of Newton.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton with the Rev. Leland Owen officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville.

Friends may call prior to the service Saturday.

The daughter of Lewis and Blanche Mae (Bright) Dobson, she was born Sept. 17, 1907, in Lineville. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. On May 19, 1942, she married Everett Roger Budolfson in Kirksville, Mo. She enjoyed traveling and camping.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Donna (Lewis) Osborn of Newton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
