Life Story of Patrick Shannon
Funeral services for Patrick William Shannon, age 18 of Monroe will be held Thursday, July 10 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Newton. Officiating will be the Rev. Father Joseph Denning. Interment will be in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Survivors are his parents Mr. and Mrs. Wayne E. Shannon, two brothers, Wayne E. Shannon, jr. of Monroe and John Henry Shannon of Iowa City. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Knittle of Withee, Wisc.
He was born March 4, 1962 in Des Moines. He drowned at Roberts Creek Monday evening.
