William P. Rose of 5202 N.W. 62nd St., Johnston, died of a heart attack Tuesday at home. He was 80. Services will be graveside at 1 p.m. Friday in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Mr. Rose was born in Vandalia and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a retired laboratory employee at Pioneer Hi-Bred International.
A sister, Vera Routhe of Des Moines, survives.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
