Services for Harold L. Cooper, 50, of 4131 Sixty-eighth St. in Urbandale, who died of a heart attack Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Wesleyan Methodist Church. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mr. Cooper was born in Runnells and spent most of his life in Des Moines. He was a welder for Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel Co. and was a member of Iron Workers Shopmen’s Local 493.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; a son, Fred of Monroe, Ind.; a daughter, Vondra Jensen of Glenwood; his mother, Hazel of Des Moines; a brother, Eldon of Des Moines; three sisters, Helen Brundage and Evelyn Cooper, both of Des Moines, and Edna McCleeary of Runnells; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at Westover Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
