Hazel C. Cooper, 100, of 4950 Orchard Drive, Pleasant Hill, died of a heart ailment Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Park Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery
Mrs. Cooper was born in Epworth and had lived in Mission, Kan., Runnells and Altoona before moving to Pleasant Hill about six years ago. She had been a teacher and a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Eldon of Pleasant Hill; three daughters, Helen Brundage of Des Moines, Edna McCleeary of Runnells and Evelyn Cooper of Pleasant Hill; 17 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grandview Park Baptist School.
