Mrs. Joseph S. Tiffany, Collins, Died Sunday
Mrs. Joseph S. (Minnie M.) Tiffany, 80, of Collins, a life-long Jasper County area resident, died Sunday, June 29, at her home.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Collins Christian Church.
The Rev. Gaylon Decious and the Rev. William Stewart, both of Collins, conducted the services. Burial was in the Ashton Chapel Cemetery north of Mingo.
A memorial fund has been set up in Mrs. Tiffany’s name. Memorials may be left at the Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home in Baxter.
Survivors are five sons, Arthur E. of Mingo, Joseph A. of Maxwell, Henry of Ames, John C. of Collins and George L. of Mingo; a daughter, Johanna Hudson of Des Moines; 22 grandchildren, two brothers, Matthew Kaldenberg of Colfax and Virgil Kaldenberg of Long Beach, Calif., and two sisters, Henrietta Acton of Colfax and Zenna Hogenborn of Long Beach, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963, her parents, a sister, and three brothers.
Mrs. Tiffany was a member of the United Methodist Church, Garden Club, American Legion Auxiliary and Happy Birthday Club and was a trustee of the Collins Public Library.
The daughter of Henry and Johanna Klootwyk Kaldenberg, she was born April 18, 1895 in Greencastle and attended Colfax schools. She resided in the Collins area most of her life.
She was married January 30, 1918 at Colfax.
Organist – Mrs. Virginia Fertig.
Pallbearers – John R. Tiffany, Terry D. Tiffany, Ronald J. Tiffany, Dennis Tiffany, Mark Hudson, Ray Tiffany.
Flowers – Mrs. Donna Ose, Mrs. Mabel Anderson.
