Morrison, Mary Hammack – 1875-1917

Mrs. Mary Morrison died at her home in Greencastle, Iowa, October 20th, 1917, at 12:15 p.m. after an illness of several months. Whittening of the blood was pronounced the cause of her death. Mrs. Morrison was a native of this state having been born in Jasper county May 3rd, 1875, and was married to Ernest Morrison, Feb. 10th, 1896. After her marriage she spent a number of years in the state and county of her birth. Besides her husband she is survived by one son Floyd who now makes his home in Colorado. A mother, Mrs. Emily Hammack of Des Moines, four sisters, Malisa Davis of Illinois, Sarah Hutton of Kansas City, Mo., Jennie Caluita of North Dakota, and Ellen Hammack of Des Moines. Also three brothers, Dan Hammack, of New Mexico, Sam and Jim Hammack of Des Moines.
