Harry Cordray Dies Today
Harry Cordray of Mingo died at the Skiff Memorial hospital today following a year’s illness resulting from a stroke. He was admitted to the hospital Dec. 13.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Cordray, he was born in Jasper county and spent the greater part of his life in the Mingo vicinity. During Work War II, he was employed at the Ankeny Ordnance plant.
He is survived by three children; two brothers, Otis Cordray, Waterloo and Rex Cordray, La Porte City; and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Lewis of Colfax.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
