Harry Epp Pitcock, formerly of Mingo passed away at the Jasper County Home following an extended illness on Thursday, Feb. 12, at the age of 67 years. Mr. Pitcock was born near Mingo and had lived in this vicinity all his life.
Survivors are three brothers, Ed and Harley Pitcock of Goddard and William Pitcock of Minnesota. Three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Wilson of Baxter, Mrs. Josh Ware of Colfax and Mrs. Ed Hanson of Bondurant, also survive.
Funeral services were held at the Cutter-Hartnett funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., with Rev. W. M. Doughty in charge and the following pallbearers, Roy Westfall, Lloyd Elrod, Harvey Otis, Bill Salmon, A Herberer and Hilster Baker. Interment was made in McKeever cemetery.
