Hershel R. Martin, age 77 of Colfax, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Skiff Medical Center – Monarch Wing in Newton. Private funeral services were held at Ashton Chapel Cemetery.
The son of Clarence D. and Minnie Lola (Morris) Martin, Hershel was born on August 30, 1933 in Houston, Missouri. Hershel worked at Fisher Controls. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Mary in Colfax and two children, Tim (Deb) Martin and Tammy (Danny) Krock.
