Clairmont, Calif.---Joan Holm Macy, 65, of Clairmont, Calif., former Lynnville area resident, died Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Pomona Valley Hospital in Pomona, Calif.

Graveside rites will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Friends Cemetery in Lynnville.

The Rev. Kenneth Santee, pastor of the Lynnville Friends Church, will conduct services.

Survivors are her husband Herbert, a son Brian, of Santa Ynez, Calif.; a daughter, Lynne Olsen of Eagen, Minn.; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Macy was a member of the United Methodist Church of Upland, Calif, on the board of directors of Clairmont Heritage Inc., and on the board of directors of the David and Margaret Home in Laverne, Calif.

A medical technologist, she had worked at the Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines and the Pomona Valley Hospital in Pomona, Calif.

The daughter of Gustav and Amitia Holm, she was born July 19, 1924 in Oskaloosa.

She was married to Herbert Macy in 1950.
