COLFAX — Ronald Paul Wadsworth, 57, of Colfax died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Mercy Medical center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church.

The son of Paul T. and Ruth M. (Linn) Wadsworth, he was born July 26, 1948, in Newton. He graduated from Colfax High School in 1966 and worked for one year at the American Can Company. He attended Bible School in Omaha for one year. Following bible school, he went to work for Stone Container Corporation for 20 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colfax and enjoyed bowling and baseball. He lived in the area all of his life, and due to health issues he spent his last two years at Heritage Manor in Newton.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth in Colfax; three sisters, Linda (Ed) Smith of Clinton, Karen Patterson of Urbandale and Sandy (Kenneth) Murphy of Colfax; a brother, David (Diann) Wadsworth of Newton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
