Kenneth Jones, Former Newton Resident, Dies
Kenneth G. Jones, 59, of Des Moines, a former Newton resident, died Tuesday afternoon in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines.
Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
Survivors are two daughters of Aurora, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Virgil Bair of Newton and Mrs. Wilbur Swindler of Des Moines and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, in 1971.
The son of Victor and Jennie Jones, he was born Nov. 27, 1916 in Ottumwa.
Mr. Jones was a former employe of the Newton Foundry.

Ex-Resident’s Services Held
Funeral services for Kenneth Jones of Des Moines, a former Newton resident, were held today at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial was in the Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
Among survivors are two sons, Fred and Bill, both of Des Moines.
He died Tuesday afternoon.
