Margaret Davenport Dies; Services to Be Held Wednesday
Mrs. Frank (Margaret Fox) Davenport of Des Moines died recently.
Funeral services will be held at 1 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Augustin’s Church at 42nd and Grand in Des Moines.
Dunn’s Funeral Home in Des Moines is handling arrangements.
Among survivors is a niece, Mrs. Leo Van Elswyk of Rt. 5, Newton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who with the late Mr. and Mrs. William B. Fox owned the B and F Grocery Store in Newton from 1929 to 1936.
Mrs. Davenport served as president of Capitol City Commercial College in Des Moines for several years.
