Parks Infant Dies Friday; Services Today
Colfax – Graveside rites for Martina Marie Parks, 34-day-old daughter of Alfred and Linda Dille Parks, Jr., were held today at the Colfax Cemetery.
The Rev. Robert Jones, pastor of the Colfax Christian Church conducted services.
She died Friday at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Also surviving are her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dille of Colfax and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Parks, Sr. of Colfax; and her great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swain of Des Moines, Mrs. Isabel Browning of Albia, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Linn of Colfax and Mrs. Clara Parks of Colfax.
The infant was born Aug. 14, 1976 in Newton.
