Lloyd Burnham Dies Friday; Services Today
Baxter – Funeral services for Lloyd Burnham, 92, of Colonial Manor in Baxter, a longtime resident of Baxter were held today at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Baxter.
The Rev. Gary Hubley, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in the Restland Cemetery in Baxter.
Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home in Baxter handled arrangements.
He died Friday at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Survivors are 10 nieces and nephews, including Vera Burnham of Colonial Manor in Baxter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Mr. Burnham was employed by his brother at the Baxter New Era for many years.
The son of John and Alice House Burnham, he was born Dec. 19, 1883 at Plankinton, S.D., was a graduate of Plankinton High School and attended college at Vermillion, S.D.
