Bessie Sheeler, Former County Resident, Dies
Tools Chapel – Bessie Sheeler, 91, a former resident of Tools Chapel, died recently at the Prairie View Retirement Home in Sanborn.
Survivors are a niece, Mrs. Francis (Esther) Reilly of Sheldon; a great-niece, Mrs. Stanley (Darlene) Fox of Sheldon; a great-great niece and two great-great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, George, Harry, Frank, Ralph and Fred; and a sister, Algie.
The daughter of Francis and Mary Ann Sheeler, she was born June 7, 1884 in Marion County and was educated in the Tools Chapel vicinity.
