V. J. Fratarelli Graveside Rite At Mount Zion
Vincent James Fratarelli, 84, of Aguilar, Colo., died Monday in a Pueblo, Colo., hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinidad, Colo. Graveside rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Cemetery near Newton.
The Rev. Donald Gatrelle, pastor of the Killduff Methodist Church, will conduct the services.
Friends may call at the Johnson Reese Chapel in Newton after 7 p.m. Friday.
Survivors are his wife Eula of Aguilar, Colo., a brother, Anthony of East Detroit, Mich., three sisters in Italy and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Fratarelli, who came to the United States in his teens, was born Feb. 1, 1892 in Italy.
He operated a commercial pool hall and barber shop in Aguilar since 1920.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Eagles Lodge and was voted the outstanding Italian of the year in 1975.
He was married to Eula Nyhouse July 16, 1945.
