Jeanne Beintema Dies Wednesday; Services Friday
Kellogg – Mrs. Durk (Jeanne) Beintema, 64, of Leighton, a former resident of the Kellogg community, died Wednesday at the Pella Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella.
The Rev. James Vos of Leighton will conduct services. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society will be accepted.
Survivors are two sons, Charles of Pella and Keith of Leighton; three grandchildren; and two sisters.
The daughter of Aart and Kate De Young Verrips, she was born Feb. 28, 1911 near Kellogg and attended Jasper County schools.
She was married Mar. 24, 1934 at Albia.
