Joyce DeWitt, Former Newton Resident, Dies
Funeral services and burial for Mrs. Clarence (Joyce) DeWitt, 52, of Salinas, Calif., a former resident of Newton, were held recently in Portland, Ore. She died in Salinas.
Survivors are her husband; a son, John of Anacortes, Wash.; three grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Leslie Eaton of Portland, Ore.; and a half-brother, Duain Eaton of Portland, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1933.
The daughter of Leslie T. and Anastasia Burch Eaton, she was born June 14, 1923 in Kellogg and was a 1941 graduate of Newton Community High School.
