Henrietta Acton Dies Tuesday; Services Friday
Colfax – Mrs. Arlo David (Henrietta G.) Acton, 86, a resident of Colfax for 60years and former resident of Mingo, died Tuesday at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Colfax.
The Rev. Dick Clark, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
Survivors are two sons, Harold A. of Seattle, Wash., and Carroll of Colfax; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Matthew Kaldenberg of Colfax and Virgil Kaldenberg of Long Beach, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. William (Zena) Hogendorn of Long Beach, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1966; a son; three brothers; and two sisters.
Mrs. Acton was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church.
The daughter of Henry J. and Johanna Klootwyk Kaldenberg, she was born June 6, 1889 at Pella.
