Loel Van Vark Dies; Services On Saturday
Reasnor – Loel Alan Van Vark, 6, of Rt. 1, Reasnor, died Wednesday at the Blank Memorial Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Reformed Church in Pella.
The Rev. Frank Shearer, assisted by the Rev. Duwayne Hanke, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions to leukemia research will be accepted. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Van Vark; a sister, Loretta Ann; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marsailus Goemaat of Pella and Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Van Vark of Pella.
The child was a first grade student at Webster School in Pella.
The son of Roland J. and Ruby J. Goemaat Van Vark, he was born Nov. 4, 1969 at Pella.
