Granddaughter Of Newton Couple Killed
Michelle Lee Van Waardhuizen, 5, of 1354 Orchard Drive, Pella, granddaughter of George and Pauline Van Kooten Terpstra of Newton, died Wednesday of injuries sustained in a car-pedestrian accident in Pella.
The child, a kindergarten student at Pella Christian Grade School, was leaving a school bus at the time of the accident.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Reformed Church in Pella.
The Rev. Jerome Julien, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
Memorial contributions to the Pella Christian Grade School will be accepted.
She was the daughter of Charles and Frances Terpstra Van Waardhuizen.
