Howard Windsor Dies Saturday; Rites Tuesday
Howard J. Windsor, 69, of 1707 7th Ave., Grinnell, died Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Grinnell. Burial will be in the Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell. The Grinnell Veterans Ceremonial Unit will conduct graveside rites.
Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell is handling arrangements.
Survivors are his wife; a son, William H. of McPherson, Kan.; and three daughters, Mrs. William (Shirley) Roe of Newton, Mrs. Darrell (Barbara) Keller of Des Moines and Mrs. Jack (Rose Mary) Matthews of Grinnell; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two brothers.
Mr. Windsor was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Grinnell Stamp Club, Elks Lodge and the American Legion.
He was employed at the Roush Drug Store in Humeston before coming to Grinnell where he worked at the Mathews Drug Store and Drug Fair.
He was married to Mona Jones at Corydon.
