Walter Cunningham Dies Wednesday; Services Monday
Walter Woodrow Wilson Cunningham, 62, of 313 N. 3rd Ave. W., a resident of Newton since March 1955, died Wednesday at his apartment.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home.
The Rev. Ray Barnett, pastor of the First Christian Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Survivors are a son, Jerry of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; two daughters, Donna Cunningham of New York, N.Y., and Mrs. Dianna Robichaud of Fontana, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Ernest Jackson of Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Mr. Cunningham, a former employee of the Maytag Co., retired Mar. 31, 1976.
The son of Edward James and Maude Kassing Cunningham, he was born Mar. 5, 1914 at Ute.
