Shawn Zylstra, Former Sully Resident, Dies
Sully – Funeral services for Shawn Ryan Zylstra, 2, son of Roger P. and Carolyn Zylstra of 1860 South Eudora St., Denver, Colo., former residents of Sully, were held recently at the Sully Christian Reformed Church.
The Rev. Ronald Nydam, pastor of the Third Christian Reformed Church in Denver, Colo., conducted services. Burial was in the Sully Cemetery.
The child died at the Colorado General Hospital in Denver.
He was born Sept. 3, 1973 at the Grinnell General Hospital.
Also surviving are a brother, Roger Christopher; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William John Zylstra of Kellogg and Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Terpstra of Lynnville; and his great-grandparents, Paul Zylstra, Mrs. Rut (Hattie) Fopma and Mrs. Harry (Jennie) Terpstra.
