Services Held For Nellie Bell
Nellie Bell, 56, of Medford, Oregon, a former resident of Mingo, died Tuesday evening, June 24 at Boulder Creek, California.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Mingo United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Lester Hesseltine and the Rev. Douglas Peck conducted the services. Burial was in the Greencastle Cemetery.
Survivors are a son, Richard Lee Bell of Boulder Creek, Calif., two daughters, Mrs. William (Leanna) White of Boulder Creek, Calif., and Mrs. Manford (Tela Mae) Stamm of Medford, Oregon; five grandchildren; two brothers, Mike Boucher of Mingo and Lee Boucher of Climax Springs, Mo.; and four sisters, Mrs. Mae Deaton and Mrs. Marguerite Smith, both of Mingo, Mrs. Clara Townsend of Colfax and Mrs. Marianne Peck of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Mrs. Bell was a member of the United Methodist Church in Medford, Oregon.
The daughter of Lafe A. and Lizzie Slykhuis Boucher, she was born March 27, 1919 at Mingo and attended Mingo schools.
