Faye Jones Beals Died September 22
Faye Jones Beals, 100-year-old resident of Colcord, Okla. died Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, Okla. Born April 15, 1893 in Jasper County, Iowa, she was the daughter of John S. Jones and Mary Wilding Jones. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Colcord area for the past 19 years. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ in Colcord.
Survivors include three sons, Charlie Beals of Tulsa, Okla., Irwin Beals of Sacramento, Calif. and Robert Beals of Des Moines; one daughter, Edith Beals Letterman of Madison, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Larry officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Talbot Library Museum in Colcord.
