Mr. Willis O. Miles, 57, of 315 653rd street North passed away, Thursday November 27th, 1969. Born in Garden City, Missouri, he moved to Saint Petersburg 10 years ago from Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the owner and operator of the Golden Tiger Restaurant, and a member of the Riviera Methodist Church, Saint Petersburg, the Pentella Masonic Lodge, number 564, and the Scottish Rite, Indianapolis, Indiana.
 
Mr. Miles is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn; A son Robert Thomas, Saint Petersburg; 4 daughters, Mrs. Janice Smith, Saint Petersburg, Mrs. Marlys Hand, Indianapolis Indiana, Mrs. Yolanda Liming, Indianapolis, Mrs. Loanna Bettner (Rockstroh), South Bend, Indiana; a brother, Homer, Newton, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Marie Grovsvenor, Newton, Iowa; and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Monday December 1st 1969 at the R. Lee Williams Funeral Home, 49th street at 35th Avenue. North, with The Reverend Earl Rabb, officiating. Masonic grave side services will follow at memorial park. Masons are requested to meet at the temple at 10:45 Monday. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the hour.
