Benjamin F. Canny, age 35 of Colfax passed away on February 25, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will take place at McKeever Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Iowa Disabled American Veterans and can be mailed to the funeral home at 24 West Howard Street Colfax, Iowa 50054 Attn: Benjamin Canny. Benjamin was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Mark and Cynthia (Wilbanks) Canny. He is survived by his parents, one brother, Alexander (and his girlfriend, Elisha) and Ben's girlfriend, Melissa of Cedar Rapids. A 2005 graduate of Colfax Mingo High School, Ben loved riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Ruff Ryders motorcycle club. He was known as "Big-Six" in the biker community. Friendly and popular, Ben brought laughter to all around him and was involved in numerous charitable events. He worked at Dee Zee in Des Moines. Ben enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
