Clarence Gulling Services Today at Prairie City
Prairie City – Funeral services for Clarence C. Gulling, 94, a lifelong resident of Jasper County, were held this afternoon at Walters Funeral Home in Prairie City.
The Rev. Dwight Hunnell of Des Moines conducted the services. Burial was in Vandalia Cemetery.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Alberta) Birkenholtz of Prairie City; a step-daughter, Mrs. Albert (Harriet) Harmison of Prairie City; a brother, Jim of Prairie City; two granddaughters and five step-granddaughters.
The son of C. C. and Sarah Gulling, he was born Dec. 14, 1871 near Runnells.
He was married to Maude Williams in April, 1923 at Unionville, Mo.
Mr. Gulling was a member of the Foursquare Church at Vandalia.
