Edward Taylor, Former Resident, Dies in Missouri
Edward Taylor, 73, a former resident of Jasper County, died Monday in his home in Unionville, Mo., following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ira Methodist Church. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery near Ira.
Survivors are his wife, Dollie; two sons, John R., Leland R. and Walter E., all of Newton; a daughter, Helen Mahl of Newton; two brothers, Alvie and Theodore, both of Spokane, Wash., and a sister, Rosetta Taylor of Eldora.
He was preceded in death by two children, six brothers and two sisters.
He was married to Dollie Gearhart July 12 1916, in Newton.
Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home in Baxter is in charge of arrangements.
