Mrs. Heberer, 67, Dies at Hospital; Rites Thursday
Mingo (Special) – Mrs. George Heberer, 67, a resident of the Mingo community for almost 50 years, died at 1 a.m. today at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines.
In failing health the past year, Mrs. Heberer was hospitalized since Feb. 19.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mingo Methodist church.
The Rev. Kenneth E. Nesbitt, pastor of the church, will conduct the services and burial will be in Graham cemetery north of Mingo.
Mrs. Heberer will lie in state at the Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home at Baxter until 10 a.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Heberer is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Mary) Johnston of Baxter; a son, Lester, at home; and four grandchildren.
Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Mary Seiders of Mitchellville, and a brother, Marion, of Phoenix, Ariz.
The daughter of Clinton and Mary Seiders, she was born Jan. 1, 1891 in Ohio where she received her education.
She moved to a farm west of Mingo in 1909. Mrs. Heberer was married Aug. 18, 1910 in Des Moines to George Heberer.
Mrs. Heberer lived in the Mingo area since that time.
She was a member of the Christian church and the Graham cemetery association.
