Frank Hampton Rites Sunday
Frank J. Hampton, 48 of near Monroe, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 1955 at Skiff Memorial hospital in Newton.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Four Square Gospel church at Vandalia and burial was in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mr. Hampton is survived by his wife, son, LaVerne at home and a daughter Mrs. Margaret Jean Dale of Altoona.
The son of David and Dora Hampton, Mr. Hampton was born January 15, 1907 at Coffey, Mo. He resided in the Runnells-Ivy community since childhood and had farmed near Monroe for severay years.
