John Connett’s Rites Tuesday
Services for John W. Connett, 39, of 1081 Twenty-second St., will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in the World War II plot at Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Connett died Thursday of a heart attack in Fort Madison.
Born in St. Francis, Minn., Mr. Connett was a Des Moines resident 35 years. He was a foreman for the Midwest Burlap Bag Co.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia; a son, Michael, 8, and a daughter, Patricia Lynn, 3; his father, Josiah Connett, of Des Moines; and two brothers, Roy and Bruce Connett, both of Des Moines.
