Charles Williams Funeral Monday
Services for Charles M. Williams, 87, formerly of Runnells, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral home, with burial at Vandalia cemetery.
Mr. Williams died of a stroke Friday at Woodland nursing home after an illness of 10 years. He had lived in Des Moines 10 years, but previously lived in Runnells, where he once served as town marshal. He was born in Kentucky.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur V. and Fred L. Williams, both of Des Moines, and three grandchildren.
