The Obituary of Mrs. G. L. Williams
Elizabeth Frances Stater was born in Sullivan, Mo., March 6, 1894, and departed from this life after a lingering illness on March 18, 1944, at her home east of Runnells at the age of 50 years.
She was married Aug. 9, 1924, to G. L. Williams, and moved with her husband to her present home.
She was associated with the Morgan Valley Church of Christ and was a faithful worker with the Ladies Aid whenever her health permitted.
She leaves her husband, two sons, Frank and Leo, three grandchildren and her foster father, Frank Stater.
Mrs. Williams’ funeral services were held at the Christian church in Runnells March 21, and burial was in the Vandalia cemetery, Rev. Gayle Flescher officiating.
