Prairie City – Funeral services for Cecil Vance Brunner, 83, of Prairie City were held today, Dec. 7 at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.
Brother Tom Dennis of Des Moines conducted services. Burial was in the Vandalia Cemetery.
He died Saturday morning at his home in Prairie City.
Survivors are his wife, Noma; a daughter, Donna (Mrs. Bob) Russell of Mitchellville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Brunner, a member of the Camp Center Church of Christ, had been a Rock Island Railroad employee for 46 years.
The son of Valentine and Grace Anderson Burnner, he was born Dec. 27, 1903 in Prairie City.
He was married to Noma Miller June 30, 1930.
