Helen Cooper Brundage, 89, died January 26, 2006. She was born October 29, 2016 to Clifford and Hazel Cooper of Runnells, Iowa. Helen graduated from Runnells High School in 1935.
Helen is survived by her 8 children, Gerald Stamper, Verta Andrews, Frank Stamper, Connelly Stamper, Karen Collins, Norma France, Judy Braucht and Barbara Kimbriel; two sisters, Evelyn Cooper and Edna McCleary; and one brother, Eldon Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Brundage; her parents, Clifford and Hazel Cooper; one son, Richard Paul Stamper; and one brother, Harold Cooper.
She lived most of her life in the Des Moines area. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, crocheting, quilting and crafting gifts for family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2006, at hamilton’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Vandalia Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madrid Nursing Home or the Kavanagh House on 56th Street in her name.
