Services for Rex R. Channon, 44, of 113 E. Hart St., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dunn’s S. W. Ninth Street Funeral Home with burial at Vandalia Cemetery.
Channon, a custodian in the Des Moines public school system, died of a heart attack Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Julia, his mother, Mrs. Blanche Channon of Des Moines; a son, Michael, of Des Moines; a daughter, Kayla at home; two brothers, Jack and Richard, both of Des Moines and five sisters, Mrs. Darlene Morris, Mrs. Lois Neff, Mrs. LaVone Mazzo, Mrs. Joyce Davis and Mrs. Laura Liggins, all of Des Moines.
